I became familiar with Doug Marcaida through Funker Tactical, and I immediately recognized his skill as a Kali master; I was getting quite annoyed with the saturation of inexperienced information regarding knife defense and tactics.
When I found that he had partnered with Fox Knives and was releasing his own knife I was sold. The Dart is a karambit style knife without the curved blade (see video below) it allows for the same manipulations as the karambit but with added features of a straight blade. I cannot wait to get my hands on one and get to know it better. I expect to add this to my EDC.
