This is what it looks like when you take a hand drill to the handguards to lighten the firearm.

This was the idea (Photoshop mock-up) of how to make it much lighter, and work around the existing holes.

This is what it looks like when a computer controlled lathe cuts larger holes over those smaller hand drill holes.

We will show photos of the rifle reassembled when we receive them. This looks like it will significantly lighten the rifle.
